Showa S-TEX GloveGlobus, experts in high performance hand protection solutions, in association with Guardsman, national PPE product distributor will be exhibiting at the RWM exhibition in September.

Visitors to the Guardsman stand (19T40) will be able to experience a range of Showa Best and Skytec safety gloves that have been specially selected for waste management and environmental service companies.

Of specific note, the high performing S-TEX range featuring Showa’s state of the art, patented HAGANE Coil™ technology will be on display. HAGANE Coil liners are engineered using HAGANE stainless steel and polyester yarns to deliver excellent protection against cuts and lacerations with unmatched comfort and dexterity. Combined with latex or nitrile palm coatings, the S-TEX range provides outstanding levels of grip and allows workers to perform detailed tasks with ease. HAGANE steel is also used for making the Japanese Samurai sword!

In addition, visitors to stand 19T40 will see how the Globus Hand Protection Programme can benefit companies looking to instigate a robust hand protection policy.

Steve Shale, Marketing Manager at Globus comments, “Globus is dedicated to supporting the education of health and safety professionals, procurement managers and wearers alike about the importance of specifying the correct hand protection for the various tasks encountered. This approach has seen our end user customers rewarded in many ways, not least by a reduction in hand-related injuries, one of the biggest areas of concern in the waste management industry.”

Visit the Guardsman stand 19T40 at RWM, NEC Birmingham from 10–12 September 2013.
