High Performance Hand Protection on Globus Stand at Intersec 2015
Globus, a world leader in protecting hands, is exhibiting its portfolio of innovative protective gloves from the Showa and Skytec ranges on stand 6-A37 at Intersec 2015 in Dubai.
Globus has developed effective hand protection solutions to perform in extreme climates and to protect from impacts, chemicals, cuts, abrasion, water and thermal hazards. As well as reducing the risk of hand accidents, the specialist gloves can also provide powerful grip in wet and oily handling conditions whilst maintaining hand dexterity. They should also be comfortable to wear and provide an ergonomic fit. This can help to reduce the incidence of workers removing gloves who find them uncomfortable and subsequently putting themselves at risk.
Steve Shale, Marketing Manager of Globus said, “We are delighted to be showcasing our hand protection solutions containing innovative technology at Intersec 2015. Workers shouldn’t be at risk of hand injuries caused by ineffective PPE. When hand safety challenges are analysed, specific task-related gloves can be specified that not only protect the workforce, but encourage productivity too. We apply our expertise across a spectrum of industries, meeting and exceeding a diverse range of hand protection requirements; from the rigorous demands of the construction and petrochemical industries to the complexities of clean room and aerospace manufacturing. The gloves can also enhance the wearer’s performance which can ultimately boost productivity - and this is definitely good for the business budget.”
